About Us

The Big Fandango is a Unique sewing studio based in the heart of Bury, a 5 minute walk from the Metrolink and bus station. We offer classes in sewing, quilting & Patchwork, dressmaking and pattern drafting. Our workshops  are designed to help empower women whilst keeping traditional crafts alive that can bring people together, forge friendships and help reduce loneliness and anxiety.

The ethos behind all our work is suicide prevention. We run programmes for schools combining upskilling young people and training staff in suicide intervention skills. We also run in house training in suicide prevention for local businesses across Bury.
